Wayyyyyy to early. I'm sorry Anet, but now that i know theres going to be a totally new game i feel like working on my existing guild wars characters is pointless. Question #1:
GUILDS! In gw2 will we stay with the same guilds? You said they have GVG like battles introduced in it, and since its still titled GUILD WARS i would only assume that there are guilds somewhere in the game. So do we stay with our guilds? And will the guild hall still be accessible to us? And if you have a special guild border from a tourny. will it show up? because some people work their lives on gw guilds. and to see it be crumpled because your guild does not transfer would kill some gw players.

Idea #1:
Please, now that you announced it, i beg of you arenanet. DO NOT RUSH because were waiting. Yes deep down inside we all want to wait for it. If you guys rush it and make it lacking (just like GWEN in my opinion) i will be so mad. So im saying, take your time. Jesus Christ i dont want to be disappointed.
WE WANT MOUNTS. no not like wow mounts, because then they'll have their little hissy fits, but something innovated and actually useful other than travel.

and the Gods issue. Last guild wars i didnt see anything on the gods. Yeah, Dwayna and Grenth are my homey gee dawgs, but what about lyssa? melandrau? and what not. a few damned city's and explorable areas's then some tablets thrown around the ground telling you stuff that honestly means nothing. I want to know more! actually implement them. wintersday is a good thing for grenth and dwayna, but the other ones are sitting outside ascolon smoking a joint in the cold snow all pissed off because they get no attention. pish posh, rember in middle school when your english teachers told you to explode the moment and use imagery in your papers. this is a perfect instance. we know who they are but WHO ARE THEY? i better fIN cry in gw2 because its like touching and overall so compelling. because IM NOT BOUT TO SPEND THE NEXT 4,000 HOURS OF MY LIFE ON A GAME THAT ENDS UP WASTED AND KICKED TO THE CURB WITH UNFULFILLED PROMISES.

but golly gee, honestly, in every campaign theres been at least one good concept you guys have gotten, but didnt approach the right way. really take your time.

because if you dont you'll just make another expansion and repair the stuff that was wrong with a few shitty skills and what not. not acceptable! get it right the first time pleasee

i love you arenanet! and im being harsh because i want you guys to make the best games ever!

Lol, let me first point out you don't pay a monthly subscription. And being that you don't pay a monthly subscription Anet doesn't give a damn if you quit working on your characters or not. You might argue, that they'd want to keep you happy so you'd buy GW2. However, before every chapter people complain and say how they aren't going to buy it and then as soon as it comes out they are the first to post what a great/bad game it is. Just saying...

EDIT: Now that I've read it all I have to ask: Who was your English teacher? They need to be shot...

I mean this is a place of ranting, ideas and speculation, is it not??

Just because you don't like what you read doesnt mean it should be closed!
(unless it is offensive and breaks rules)

I have my thoughts on gw2 some bad some good!

my main concern is that original guild wars will become oboslete and gw2 will become to much like WoW, becuase a lot of things said about it seem WOW like :-S

However i love the idea of a more sophisticated trade system and more freedom to roam around is cool!

I won't go into detail just yet.

Also stop picking on people because their English is not good..you do not know these people in real life, for all you know they could have difficulties or be Foreign.

My spelling is bad and i typo a lot >_< I would feel bad if people were flaming me because of it :-(

I am looking forward to GW2. Some of the changes sound fun...the changed map will be interesting to see... and from what I'm hearing Cantha may not be accessible

what I'm not looking forward to is the graphics upgrade (I'm assuming it will be significant). My old computer is pretty much at it's limit now and won't be able to cope with the more.

and as far as the people making mean comments about grammar and spelling, I agree with the above poster, stop it.
